Looking to get in shape for the next summer and thinking about using SARMs for bodybuilding and muscle gain? Here are our favorites.
The summer might be long gone, but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be taking care of your beach body. In fact, now it’s the best time to do it.
If your goal is to build enough muscle to show off, the sooner you start, the better. The real question is, though, do you know how to do it properly?
Many people believe that hitting a gym five days a week is enough to develop muscle mass. Well, they’re not wrong, but you should know one thing – doing that is humanly impossible without enhancers.
Most bodybuilders take steroids to gain strength to work out excessively and gain muscle faster.
Unfortunately, steroids are the worst junk you can take. In extreme cases, they can even lead to death.
So, no, taking steroids shouldn’t be your option. What you should consider is to start taking SARMs, also known as selective androgen receptor modulators.
But before you start shopping for the best SARMs to build strength, you should know a thing or two about them. More on that below.
What Are SARMs?
As mentioned before, SARMs stands for selective androgen receptor modulators. But unless you’re a chemist, dietitian, or professional bodybuilder, the name won’t tell you anything.
In a nutshell, SARMs are drugs chemically similar to anabolic steroids.
What makes them different? For instance, they don’t produce the same dangerous side effects as steroids, like:
- Decreased testicular size;
- Elevated blood pressure;
- And more.
In short, you should avoid steroids at all costs.
Taking SARMs for bodybuilding is a much safer alternative if you want to gain muscle mass and strength.
They have a particular affinity for specific tissues, including bone or muscle, but not for others, for example, prostate or liver.
What’s more, they don’t break into unwanted molecules that cause side effects.
Also, what’s interesting, SARMs haven’t been approved for medical use yet. At the moment, pharmaceutical marketers are selling them as “research chemicals.”
The Most Popular SARMs For Bodybuilding
What you need to know is that there are five most popular SARMs you can use:
- Ligandrol (LGD-4033);
- Ostarine (MK-2866);
- Andarine (GSX-007 or S-4);
- Caradine (GW-501516);
All of them have various effects on your body and can be used for different purposes:
Ligandrol, taken orally, is used by bodybuilders to prevent muscle wasting, increase lean muscle growth, and maintain muscle tissue and strength.
What’s more, in terms of research, LGD-4033 is currently superior to all other SARMs, meaning it’s the safest one you can use.
Ostarine is another well-researched SARM. If your goal is to gain muscle and increase fat loss steadily, MK-2866 is the perfect choice for you.
Even the modest doses can significantly impact your exercise, even without the complete diet change.
Andarine is actually the oldest SARM on the market. Some athletes even used it at the 2008 Olympic Games, before it was banned from professional use.
People who use S-4 report modest strength and muscle growth. You can also notice a slight decrease in body mass and fat.
Technically, Caradine is not a SARM. It’s labeled as one, has similar effects, but it works differently. Instead of binding androgen receptors like most SARMs, it binds PPARD receptors.
Still, despite these differences, Caradine works the same way as any other SARM in terms of muscle gain and cutting fat.
This is a relatively new SARM developed primarily for the prevention of muscle atrophy. It also helps with muscle gain and bone strengthening.
Despite its name being similar to the Ligandrol, it has nothing to do with it.
And since it’s new on the market, it would be best to stay away from it until it’s fully tested and safe.
Side Effects And Safety
Keep in mind that even though SARMs don’t have the same negative side effects as steroids, it doesn’t mean they don’t have any.
Don’t forget that most of them are technically still in development, meaning they’re not perfect. So we still can’t determine whether they’re safe in the long run.
What’s more, they’re often offered by unreliable providers on black markets, so you must do your research before you start looking for the best SARMs for sale.
When it comes to the side effects of SARMs, here’s what we know and what you need to consider:
- They can suppress your natural testosterone production.
- Some of them might increase the risk of cancer.
- They can increase hair loss.
As mentioned before, though, the most significant safety concern lies in the fact that most SARMs are still under research. It means that we still don’t know the long-term effects they may have on a person.
Although SARMs have been hailed as the next big thing, many scientists are not entirely sure about their safety.
Sure, at the moment, it looks like their side effects aren’t as significant as the ones of anabolic steroids. And yes, they can have a great impact on your muscle growth or body fat decrease.
But since they’re still under development, we can’t determine whether they’re a hundred percent ready for usage.
That’s why before you set off for an expedition to find the best SARMs for bodybuilding, make sure you do your research.
