3 Quick Summer Picnic Recipe Ideas To Save Some Time

3. Ground Turkey Burgers

We want a bit of protein on our picnic too (we don’t go to the gym for nothing, let’s keep those muscles well-fed!) so we absolutely need something that’s tasty, protein packed and easy to take on a summer picnic.

For this picnic recipe you need:

– 1 pound ground turkey;

– 1 teaspoon dry mimnced onion (or half an onion, very very finely chopped);

– 1 egg;

– 1 tablespoon garlic powder;

– 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (less if you don’t want your meatballs too spicy);

– ½ cup crushed whole grain crackers.

First you should preheat the grill for high heat.

Then you mix together all the ingredients in a large bowl, until they are mixed well. Form this into 5-6 smaller patties, or 4 bigger ones.  Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until they are done.
