1. Green Tea, Blueberry, Banana Smoothie
It’s blueberry season! OK, it’s frozen-blueberry season year round, but if you find some fresh fruit at your local farmer’s market, can you say no? I didn’t think so.
I’ve found the perfect blueberry healthy summer smoothie. Great for your body thanks to the antioxidants, and great for your sweet tooth too (thank you, banana!).
All you need to blend are:
– Half a cup or less of strong green tea;
– 2 tsp honey or agave nectar;
– 1 ½ cup blueberries;
– Half a large banana, or one small banana;
– Half a cup ight soy milk (my favorite is the vanilla flavored version!).
Blend these together, and you get two servings of an amazing healthy summer smoothie that you can share with a friend.
