Have Fun While Getting Fit With The Beach Workout

These hot days of summer are the perfect time to say goodbye to indoor workouts and take things outside trying this HIIT beach workout.

And if you’re on vacation, why not head straight to the beach to have fun while sculpting your dream body?

If you give this HIIT workout a try, you’ll boost your mood and besides this, your muscles will have to fight a lot of extra resistance when trying to stabilize your body in the sand.

So if you don’t mind sweating when you go on vacation, then this beach workout is definitely for you.

The beach workout is a HIIT (high-intensity interval training), which means that it’s the perfect choice for outdoor workouts. You can condition the whole body efficiently and you don’t need any equipment.

A HIIT workout challenges your aerobic and anaerobic systems, and you’ll build strength and improve cardiovascular endurance at the same time.

Your muscles will burn a lot of calories even after the beach workout is finished, a process known as the afterburn effect.

Ready to soak up some sun and feel the right kind of burn? Try these 8 HIIT workouts designed with the sand and the swimming in mind. They’re short, sweet, and sure to leave you sweating!

Now go on and HIIT this fat-burning workout! (Don’t forget the sunscreen to avoid sunburn!)

Total Body Beach Workout

A few minutes is all you need for a killer burn. Warm-up with 30 seconds of jogging and 30 seconds of swimming. Then, complete the four sets of exercises below with 30 seconds of rest between each round.

If you want to transform this beach workout into a “park workout”, just replace the swimming exercises with a 50-meter sprint. Also, you can sprint on the beach if you don’t know to swim.

For best results, I recommend you to perform this beach workout at least 6 times per week (one time every day with one day rest, or 2 times every 2 days). Stay fit!
