No More Acne Scars And Pimples
I know a lot people deal with acne scars and pimples on a daily basis and this can really hinder confidence and self-esteem. So I wanted to share with you some of my tips and how to deal with acne and pimples.
1. Use A Warm Towel
Before you go to bed, get a towel, put some warm water on it and place it on your acne scars for 5 to 10 minutes. Then add some cream with salicylic acid on the acne scars, just a drop or two and leave it overnight.
By using salicylic acid overnight it really helps draw out the pus in the pimple and it dries it out. So in the morning you might be able to move it around and if not, it might pop by its own. You never wanna poke it or squeeze it out because that actually makes acne scars a lot more prominent.
So leave the pimples or the acne scars alone and try not to touch it with your hands because hands can be really dirty and can cause more bacteria.
2. Vitamin C
If your acne scars or blemishes are red or swollen you might want to try some over-the-counter natural ingredients to help with that. I would recommend a cream with Vitamin C serum which really helps with stressed skin.
3. Wear Sunscreen
Make sure you always, always wear sunscreen. Sunscreen is very important if you like to be outdoors, you like to play sports, you like to go on the beach all the time, so make sure you wear it. Not wearing sunscreen it can really make your acne scars darker and it can really slow the healing process as well. So make sure no matter where you go, you always wear sunscreen with sun protection factor 30 or higher!
4. Eat Acne-Fighting Foods
Try ingesting more Omega 3 from foods like:
- Seafoods: salmon, tuna, sardines, oysters, herring;
- Grains and nuts: walnuts, pumpkin seeds, oatmeal, flaxseed;
- Green vegetables: spinach, brussels sprouts, kale, mint.
5. See A Dermatologist If Nothing Works
If your acne scars don’t fade away on their own you might want to try and see a dermatologist or a skin care specialist. Sometimes acne scars can be really deep and your regular over-the-counter stuff may not work as well. So you might wanna try and seek someone that is specialized in that.
These are really great things to help with reducing inflammation and skin elasticity. You also want to drink a lot of water every day to get rid of pimples and acne scars.
