What Young Bodybuilders Need To Know
Here are 3 steps young guys need to follow in order to make sure that they’re gonna be successful bodybuilders.
1. You Need Money
Make sure that you have some means of earning money that does not involve bodybuilding. It’s great if you’re a personal trainer or something like that and you have a business in fitness industry or elsewhere.
Don’t think that you’re going to win a bunch of shows and then become a pro bodybuilder and then there’s a $10 million contract out there waiting for you. Even a lot of the top pro bodybuilders have day jobs because this sport doesn’t pay. You don’t do this sport for the money, you do this because you love it, right?
The wealthier you are, the more money you make, the better you’re gonna be at this sport. That’s because you’re gonna get the best training and the best foods. You need that if you’re gonna go to battle with the top bodybuilders. So stay in school, get a good job, go start a business.
The more successful you are in that world, the more successful you will be in the bodybuilding world.
2. Don’t Buy Silly Supplements
Don’t waste your money on stupid gimmicks and silly supplements. There are a lot of you buying testosterone boosters and growth hormones pills. These might make you feel a little bit better, but it’s not going to give you any significant muscle gains. And you’ll spend way too much money on those things.
So save your money and focus on getting real food with real nutrients.
3. Always Challenge Yourself, NOT Others
If you want to be successful, you need to challenge yourself. I mean, don’t be a big fish in a small pond. You don’t want to just sit in your gym and say “Oh, I’m the biggest guy in here”. Don’t sit there and be complacent with what you’ve got. Keep challenging yourself, keep working out, keep eating healthy and nutritious food and DO AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.
If you want to compete with the best, you got to work like the best. So go read about bodybuilding, read about who’s competing in this sport, see what those people are doing, learn about the nutrition, read everything you can and that way, in the universe of bodybuilding, you’ll be everything that you can be.
