The 3-Day Detox Diet Rules
1. Drink your meals. You’re allowed to eat only liquid meals for 3 days, so avoid any kind of solid food.
2. Your diet will be 3 liquid meals (2 shakes and a vegetable soup) and one liquid snack (a shake) per day.
3. Your daily protein intake needs to be very low, only 14 to 20 grams.
4. You need to include some healthy fats into your meals.
Here are some meal samples for a detox diet. Repeat this process 3 days in a row and your body will be recovered from the damage caused by too much junk food.
1. Breakfast Shake
- Unsweetened coconut milk, 1 cup;
- Plant-based protein powder, 1 scoop;
- Almond butter, 4 tbsp;
- Vanilla extract, 1 tbsp;
- Stevia as sweetener.
2. Lunch Shake
- Apple, 1 medium;
- Coconut water, 1 cup;
- Avocado, 1 medium;
- Fresh lime juice;
- Fresh ginger.
3. Snack Shake
- Spinach, 1 cup;
- Cucumber, 1 medium;
- Celery, one stalk;
- Lemon juice;
- Apple, 1/2 medium.
- Eat a warm bowl of vegetable soup.
