Why Protein From Some Grains Is Bad For You

Why Protein From Some Grains Is Bad For You

In this article I’m gonna explain to you why you should be against the grains like wheat, barley, rye and oats, and why they are bad foods. I know that this is not what you have been taught, but that’s the whole point of this, right? We are trying to unlearn the wrong stuff that we’ve learned over the decades.

Why Do We Need Protein?

The problem with grain, specifically rye, wheat, oats and barley it’s not the grain itself, it’s the protein that’s in the grain. And the protein that’s in these grains mostly is refer to as gluten, which is a very difficult protein for the human body to digest.

A protein (doesn’t matter if is a fish protein, a wheat protein or a say protein) is a long chain of amino acids, which are essential nutrients for our bodies. They need to be imported into the body because the body can’t manufacture an essential nutrient. If a nutrient is categorized as essential, it has to be eaten every day. So we get our amino acids from protein and that’s the main reason we need to eat protein.

Regardless of the type of protein, a protein is just a group of amino acids that have been chained together through chemical bonds. So we eat the protein and the stomach hopefully snaps those chemical bonds liberating the amino acids. The amino acids are now free and the body can absorb them.

Where the protein came from, gives that protein it’s structure and the structure of the protein can be vastly different one from the other. And there is the problem. Because the chemical bond that we find in the protein of oats, wheat, rye and barley is very difficult for the stomach to digest. Everything has to be just right in the stomach for the stomach to snap those bonds and liberate the free amino acids.

When the majority of people eat wheat, barley, rye or oats, these proteins are undigested. This is a problem, because when you get an undigested protein, which can be very complex, tumbling though the intestinal tract, where should only be individual amino acids, it’s like having an elephant in your house. An elephant in your house is nothing but trouble and starts to destroy everything.

That’s exactly what happens as these undigested proteins of oats, wheat, rye and barley tumble through the intestinal tract. The undigested proteins destroy your intestinal tract mechanically and they also destroy it with the electrical charge they carry (like a thundercloud).

What’s The Worst That Could Happen?

It’s the intestinal tract job to absorb the nutrients into the body. And when you destroy it, you impair the mechanism that the body absorbs nutrients through. So when you eat wheat, barley, rye and oats all kinds of bad things can happen, like:

  • Irritable bowell;
  • Celiac disease;
  • Chron’s disease;
  • Ulcerative colitis.

All of these are the same disease, just different levels of intestinal tract tissue destruction. But all of these diseases ultimately results in malabsorption, and this is the genesis of most chronic disease.

What Is The Solution?

If we’re eating regularly wheat, barley, rye and oats, we’re going to be able to absorb less nutrients than we could the week before. So if we already eat junk food without the nutrients our body needs, and now we can’t absorb even those few nutrients from the junk food, this is not a good recipe, it’s actually a recipe for disaster.

You may be in the small percentage (about 30%) of people that are okay with wheat, barley, rye and oats but the odds are against it. The good news is when we stop eating wheat, barley, rye and oats and give the body the 91 essential nutrients appropriate for body weight every day, the intestinal tract tissue grow back.

So the recommendation is to go on a gluten-free diet as soon as it’s possible. You will benefit from it undoubtedly.
