7 Reasons You Feel Miserable With A Wrong Diet

7 Reasons You Feel Miserable With A Wrong Diet

There are two types of diets: the good diet and the wrong diet. Now, the good diet is the one that brings you on the right path: helps you lose weight safely, boosts your metabolism and significantly improves your mood.

On the other side, a wrong diet is something we often meet when we’re trying to lose weight fast. A diet that causes you constant hunger, makes you moody and promotes a lifestyle based just on certain types of foods is definitely the wrong diet not just for you, but for everybody.

7 Signs You’re Following A Wrong Diet

If your diet meets any of these 7 points below, then it’s most probably the wrong diået for you.

1. It Cuts Too Many Calories

Any diet plans that ask you to restrict calories to less than 1,200 per day is just not a good idea. Most women need to eat at least 1,200 to 1,400 calories a day, even when trying to lose weight, to avoid feeling hungry and exhausted. And eating too little can actually send your body into starvation mode so your body burns muscle rather than fat, too.

You should never restrict your daily caloric intake to less than 1200 if you’re a woman, or 1600 if you’re a man. Any diet that cuts your calories to less than this is a wrong diet and it makes you feel exhausted and hungry all the time.

Also, eating too few calories can actually send your body into starvation mode so your body burns muscle too, not just fat.

2. It Eliminates Whole Food Groups

If I’d say to you not to think about “Fast 7”, what would you thinking about? The movie, right? This is what happens every time you try to forgot a certain food.  If you aren’t allergic to those foods, you shouldn’t banish them from your diet because you will end up bingeing or even harming yourself.

3. It Messes Your Lifestyle

A diet that requires lots of meal prep could be overwhelmed for a person with a crazy schedule. A diet that limits your ability to eat out probably isn’t going to fit well for a person who loves to go out and eat with friends.

4. It Requires Eating The Same Foods Everyday

Diets that don’t add variety to your meals and don’t allow you to mix up your menu options will get you bored very fast.

5. It Doesn’t Allow Indulgences

A treat now and then is something we all like, and it’s nothing wrong with this. If your diet doesn’t allow treats or doesn’t teach you how to include a treat in your meal plan, then it’s a wrong diet and it probably won’t be sustainable for long.

6. It’s All-Liquid

If a diet requires you to drink smoothies for meals, it is likely a wrong diet. Don’t get me wrong, I love having a smoothie for breakfast, but consuming liquid foods all day long will cause digestive issues and will slow down your metabolism.

7. It Requires You To Eat Foods You Hate

Most of us would rather eat a cheesecake than a salad, but if you really don’t like the foods your diet requires you to eat, every meal is going to leave you unsatisfied. Even if the foods your diet makes you eat are perfectly healthy and balanced, it doesn’t matter because you won’t be eating anything you detest for long.

What’s more, a wrong diet almost always lead to binge eating and eventual weight gain. So be aware of these 7 signs and choose wisely your diet. Stay fit and healthy!
